+ Songs I could never get bored of

Often, music is the only thing that can fix my mood when I’m sad, depressed, bored, lonely or all these things.

Below is a list of my favourite songs that, no matter what, always help lift my mood up and restore some zen in my mind!

Radiohead – The Tourist. (click to get mp3)

PLEASE watch the video below; it is just amazing live and Thom Yorke even has to wipe away some tears at the end of the song.

Amy Winehouse – Take The Box

Before the drugs ruined all her live performances, her looks and all hope for good material…. take a look at her performance from the Mercury Music Prize.

The Subways – Lines of Light

This is a fans’ music video for the song, but you get the idea! Really lovely song that just helps you to reflect and chill out.

Bob Dylan – One More Cup of Coffee

View this duet with Jack White of One More Cup of Coffee… it’s amazing although you can’t really see much on the video but at least you can hear them. I love the album version which is a duet with Emmylou Harris.

The Kings of Convenience featuring Feist – The Build-Up (click to get mp3)

I’ve never really figured out exactly what this song is about, but the pairing of Kings of Convenience with Feist is just divine. Below is a solo performance of the song by Feist.

Portishead – The Rip

See below for a live performance of theirs on Later with Jools Holland. I love Beth Gibbons!

  1. I love all that music. I’m hoping for a Winehouse comeback though.
