+ Fave Fashion Bloggers

There’s a growing number of fashion bloggers who, armed with little more than a camera and a blog, have managed to gain worldwide recognition for their sense of style and personality. What they all have in common is a seemingly endless amount of money to purchase Chloé, Alexander Wang, Marc Jacobs, much to the envy of their readers!

So, my three favourites at the moment are Rumi from FashionToast, Karla from Karla’s Closet and Alix from the Cherry Blossom Girl.

I’d love to find some fashion bloggers who are just normal girls with an average income, making the most of high street brands and online purchases. LookBook offers a wide spectrum of style bloggers, some who are young and playing around in their bedroom, and others who are budding models/photographers/fashion editors!

If you are or know of any inspirational style bloggers, let me know in the comments :)

  1. I love Jane from Sea of Shoes but, again, she seems to have so much money!!

Tavi’s awesome too and she thrifts most stuff.

  2. I just found this cute German blogger, she seems to wear mainly high street brands and her style is great I think. There’s not too many bloggers out there who actually wear colour so bravely!

I myself don’t spend much money into clothes at all, I’d say definitely less than average, and I still often get a lot of compliments from my style. I buy a lot second hand, and then maybe invest on something amazing a couple of times in a year. I do have to say though that I can sew so it’s easy for me to tune up the pieces I find from charity shops or wherever, and of course I make some clothes from scratch too.

    ps. nice blog you’ve got!

  6. I love how you can so easily recognise the difference between the normal and the rich. I have learnt to not even look at some of the richer girls blogs because i cant relate to it. Yours on the other hand is perfect :)

  7. Ha, sometimes I wish I were a fashionista – i love clothes – but I spend too much time blogging about (and eating) food to worry about fashion. But I agree with you! I would love to find some more fashion blogs by regular girls with regular incomes leading regular lives. I don’t care if someone spent $580 on shoes. I can’t relate to that.
    But do check out http://signaturestyles.blogspot.com/
she’s a friend of mine from university – im pretty sure currently in design school – and she has a lot of great posts about clothes and fashion, from a more “normal perspective”.

  10. It’s true, a lot of bloggers have soooo much $$$$$ I mean, yes many are talented, but then again, it’s not too hard when Tom Ford has designed 60% of your outfit and Karl Lagerfiel the remaining 40… You have here, yours truly, two bloggers BEYOND broke, one laid off in fact, who dress on pennies. :)
    Stay cool chicky.

  15. Hello, I was lurking on TFS spot and saw those
HAWT zara heels you posted. And then I saw
that you had a blog and decided to check it out. And I glad I did. You have a wonderful sense of style! I do fashion merchandising so
I enjoy looking at how people put different
    looks together.

Anyhoo, I’ve never heard of TFS and wanted to know how I can become a member. Is there
anyway that can tell me how it works?? Is it
by invite only?? I don’t realy know.

    Thank you,
    Shawnna
