Ever since the cold snap settled over England a few weeks ago, I’ve been trying to find my dream fur coat, preferably fur although I am willing to wear vintage fur (for the record I wear leather so I’m not about to get on my hypocritical high horse about wearing fur).
Fur Coat Wishlist….
+ It needs to be shaggy and 1970’s boho like Kate Hudson’s character in Almost Famous:
+ I want it the same texture as Kate Moss’ Groupie Fur Coat from her Topshop Collection (and now selling for twice the price on eBay):

and about fur. i could only wear faux- at least the way i feel know. it would be too strange too carry a furry animal on me.. it would be like having my cat over my shoulders(which happens a lot) but her being not alive…. and thats just bad..

Finding the perfect fur piece is so difficult. I’ve been looking for years. For an investment like that, you have to not only love it, but it has to really be “you.” I couldn’t just show up at a party in just any fur coat. It would have to stop the party, make everyone turn & look & say “There she is & she’s perfect.”

your choices on the fur jacket are awesome..except that if i try to wear them here, i’d sweat to death..LOL!

I don’t really know much about fur pieces so unfortunately I don’t think I am going to be too much help.
Beyond Retro may have some fur coats, they have shops in London and a shop in Brighton.

I have the same attitude to fur,
and have also had lustings for something that seems so much warmer than a regular coat in this freezing weather.

Gosh … I’m also on the hunt for my own fur coat … Alas, faux fur will have to do for now … Hope you find the perfect fur coat soon … I shall be totally envious of you then!
