This is my weekly post where I feature anything that’s caught my eye on the internet in the past week!
Jewellery Organisers
I badly want to find a way of storing my jewellery that also doubles as a piece of art… at the moment I have shoe boxes full of tangled up necklaces, stray earrings and the like. Here are some solutions:

laughing daises transforms a cutlery tray into a striking jewellery organiser.

Allison from Gimme A Kisss converts a storage chest that was originally used as specimen storage in a science lab.
Guerilla Art

The decapitator has defaced, or rather beheaded, the covers of magazines and adverts/billboards from Sao Paolo to London. His latest target was Shakira’s cover for the Rolling Stone.
Food Photography

Cupcakes and Cashmere is a great blog that features both personal style and image-heavy food posts.
I love high-quality pictures of food… I can spend ages browsing food blogs despite having no desire to actually make or purchase the food featured!
my dream bed

If It’s Hip It’s Here features some amazingly futuristic but nevertheless highly desirable beds. Well, I use the word ‘bed’ but the picture is evidence that it is a lot more than your humble mattress and bed frame.
Bad luck
This evening my brand new bag, brand new blackberry and long-suffering ipod (which has travelled to China, Brazil, Argentina etc with me) was stolen. I swear my luck has been REALLY REALLY bad lately. Maybe very soon I’m going to be in a rush of good luck, although unfortunately I don’t think the world works that way

With regards to your post, I really like the idea of using a cutlery drawer to store jewellary. Very inventive. And what a lovely bed!

If I had not just received a jewelry tree for Christmas, I would so have loved to make one out of a cutlery drawer. How cool! : )
